DAVID JAY LASKY
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, USC School of Cinema/Television graduate David Jay Lasky received the New York Times College Scholarship to attend USC and study journalism & cinema from Dana Canedy.
As a writer, Lasky worked as a stringer for The New York Times. Lasky currently freelances and conducts celebrity interviews for OK! Magazine, Variety, Gala Magazine, Bunte, Life & Style, and The Advocate. Lasky wrote a cover story for The Advocate.
David, Executive Produced, MS CUTLER, which is selected to screen at the BEIJING FILM FESTIVAL 2018.
Lasky co-produced the film BREAD AND BUTTER (2015, The Orchard), which starred Lauren Lapkus (JURASSIC WORLD, ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK) and Bobby Moynihan (SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE) and Micah Hauptman (HOMELAND, EVEREST). Lasky is currently producing a new film with director Hunter Lee Hughes (the Gravitas Ventures film GUYS READING POEMS which starred Lydia Hearst and Rex Lee.)
